Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dr.Magpie ("the Service") at magpieos.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dr.Magpie is an AI-powered platform for medical statistical analysis, including but not limited to meta-analysis, network meta-analysis, and other statistical methods. The Service uses natural language processing to interpret analysis requests and R statistical computing for execution.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to register.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Free & Paid Plans

• Free Plan: Limited to 10 analyses per day and 1 download per day. Charts include a Dr.Magpie watermark.
• Pro Plan: 100 analyses per day and 5 downloads per day, no watermark, priority processing.
• Max Plan: 400 analyses per day and 20 downloads per day, no watermark, priority processing, and all premium features.
• We reserve the right to modify plan features and pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Upload malicious files or content that violates intellectual property rights.
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal usage patterns.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your uploaded data and the analysis results generated from it. Dr.Magpie retains all rights to the Service, its software, design, and underlying algorithms. Generated charts may be used freely in academic publications with or without attribution (attribution appreciated but not required).

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Statistical analysis results are generated by AI and automated R code execution. Results should be independently verified before use in clinical decisions, regulatory submissions, or publications. We are not responsible for errors in analysis output.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dr.Magpie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to errors in statistical analysis, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Subscription & Refunds

• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
